Hello World! I'm Joy Yao!

A UX designer based in Seattle with a background in Interaction Design, UI & UX Design, Architecture. I lived across four countries across Chile, China, Canada, and the United States, I learnt how differently people communicate, decide, trust, and navigate systems, which has become the center of my design philosophy.

I design thoughtful systems for the future of technology, from AI platforms at Samsung Global Research to designing B2B/B2C experiences. I believe meaningful design is not just making interfaces intuitive, it’s understanding the world people come from!
